I first met the other members of the band, but Pete was still making private phone calls, in their refusal to wait for him, the other girls there started talking to the other band members, leaving me to sit by myself at the farthest edge of the couch.
I started feeling a body behind me, and wow there he was. A little smirk across his face. He was wearing his red hoodie and jeans. I tried to be non-nonchalant, but I felt you could hear my heart beating over everything. He asked me if I enjoyed the show. It was hard to actually converse, so he took my hand and led me through the door he just had come out of.
He was drinking from a bottle of gatorade and asked me if i wanted the same. Wow, I was in shock he wasnt partying at all, he said he usually waited till the weekends, and even then he never got stupid drunk. I did admire that a bit. So at first we were just talking about life in general, I could feel we were really getting along and making a connection. He sat close to me to listen to me, but there was still space between us.
He ended up shifting over, and now our legs were touching. I was wearing a cute little skirt, so i could feel my bare leg against his jeans. Oddly enough, I was not very nervous.
Feeling way brave, I leaned and rested my head on his shoulder, he put his arm around me, holding me like that for a few seconds, he reached over and laid a quick kiss on my forehead, just below my hairline. I looked up at him, into his deep and beautiful eyes. I just went and zoomed in and we were kissing. Oh he was being so shy at first, just little pecks, then a bit more solid after that...
