I immediately regretted that outburst as everyone within hearing turned to stare. I tried to brazen it out, but ended up running out of the store, groceries forgotten in my haste to depart. I was mortified, here was one of the most beautiful creatures I had ever laid eyes on and I had acted like a farm hick fresh off the hay truck. How could I have let this happen? As I sat there trying to decide where to go next to buy the groceries I needed, a tap on the window next to my head startled me. I jumped straight in the air and turned my head to see who had scared the shit out of me. I looked into the smiling face of the lovely from inside the store. She gestured for me to roll the window down and I instantly reached for the handle.
